How to Apply for the William Threlkeld Scholarship

Attention high school and current college students! We are thrilled to announce that the annual William Threlkeld Scholarship is back. As a member-focused credit union, we are dedicated to recognizing excellence in academics and community involvement.

Scholarship Qualifications

1.

Membership: Applicants must be a member of Rocky Mountain Law Enforcement Federal Credit Union with an active account. If you’re not currently a member, we invite you to learn more about joining our esteemed institution.

2.

Academic Excellence: Applicants must be high school or college students with a minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Application Checklist

To apply for the William Threlkeld Scholarship, please ensure that you submit the following documents:

Official Application Form: Complete the official application form here.

2.

School Transcript: Include your official school transcript.

3.

Honors and Awards: List any honors and awards you have received throughout your academic journey. Provide the date received, a comprehensive explanation of the honor or award, and the criteria required for achieving it.

4.

Extracurricular Activities: Provide a detailed list of all extracurricular activities you have participated in during the past three years. This includes activities within your school, religious organizations, community initiatives, and sports. Highlight any leadership positions held and provide specific details and responsibilities for each role.

5.

References: Include two recent written references from individuals who are not family members. These references can come from teachers, counselors, school administrators, employers, coaches, scouts, religious leaders, or any other appropriate individuals. Please explain your relationship with each reference.

6.

Biographical Essay: Write a one-page essay outlining your educational and career goals. This essay will be evaluated based on grammar, content, clarity, and overall presentation.
